Hello all you peoples out here
Busy few weeks then , piccies to add on Pimms lady and Mr Blenders Pride in Delhi
We , me Oops left the camera at the "having a little jig night " got it back now for the nice people in the Hotel and only found a few unprintable piccies on it
You know the type , that people take when they might have one or two much
Sky, floor, feet and the like !
Piccies with our driver before the eating, talking and dancing , got some strange looks walking out the appartment , even Mr pimms did.
Mrs Pimms has been fatening herself up with the xmas dinners in the British high commision and par-taking of a little ( lot) of champers to get herself in the party mood for next week
Back to meet the family and friends in the uk next week and make sure santa leaves a full stocking for Mr Pimms ?
Visited Khan Market saturday to pick up one or two bits of Delhi after a failure last week on the sunday at several other markets. Off to see a fine dentist when we return next year and told that will be fun
Too much choice for Mrs Pimms , no Pubs to wait in for Mr Pimms
Bargains galore if you are prepared to haggle, and even managed to stop by the purveyors of finest pork on the way back, well I think its pork they sell !
Wonder if this is why we have more veggie in our diet now?
Lazy sunday afternoon on the balcony, reading in the sunshine and par-taking of a small apperetif, morning taken up with the "lets get fit or kill ourselves whilst doing the daily excercises, gym and squash "
A link for Kam on the land of small things, any comments?

Two Nights in Delhi
Hi People
Been an entertaining weekend.
Out on Friday night to meet up in the Australian High Commission Club for a bit of a jig
Re-learning how to "strip the willow" and some other far and distant memories of scottish country dancing.
All good fun and finds more aching muscles that must of been resting in the gym
Its very strange how that whisky stuff numbs the pain until the following morning!
Had to go shopping on Saturday as Neil didn't bring a bow tie.
Drove to the Metropolitan Mall and after spending more of his money in clothes shops managed to get the mandatory dicki bow.
On with the gear and Sudeep took us to the Delhi Calledonian Society, St Andrews Night Dinner and Dance.
Excellent night out, Haggis, neeps and tatties, met lots of new faces, even managed to swirl around the crowded dance floor with the help of some more scottish liquids. Might of been Indian but tasted the same.

Delhi on a sunny sunday
Hi again
Mr Blender's here
More touristy bits to add as you have to do it and brave the ever so peaceful drive on a sunny sunday morning in Delhi.
Sudeep, picked us up at 10 and off we go for a sunny days culture
First stop Qutb complex, south Delhi
Qutb Minar started in 1192, its 72.5 metres high minar in the complex of Tombs, temples and other stuff, bla , bla , bla
But you have to come out to see it when its finished
Instead thought you blokes might like to see a couple of Birds we met
and bum, now who's that slimmer person
and someone telling his driver , are we there yet?
More culture on the next post.
Namaste

27th Nov and a little bit of a catch up
Mr Pimms here
Still on big sis visit , but then there is a lot of piccies to upload
Took a trip to Agra, taxi there and back takes 3 and a half hours each way and I was sure we were going to die on the trip back in the dark , seen everything possible that anyone can think of called transport, feet, bicycles, cows, bull, camels , elephants, carts, cycle rickshaw, mopeds, motor rickshaw, buses, lorries, taxis, cars , trains, but surprisingly no planes, not bad considering there is no side of the raod that people drive on in the dark windey trip back!!!!
Surprising though only saw two trucks and one trashed car , must be the expert driving techniques , would beat the Go-Karters iI know, so you will have to keep practicing Denis before you are out here.
Next time we will book the train.
Ahh back to Agra, now what's there for all you students and culture vultures
The Taj, nice, no really nice and not too busy
Then off to the Red Fort to search out more Mohguls , only found these , anyone missing from the UK as they had no passports?
Got a good guide to show us both places for 100 spondoolies ( naughtical saying for all you philastines out there) Very grand and lots of inlaid marble in the palaces.
The scale these people built is impressive, worth the trip.
Shah Jahan built these for his ladies. He also used to play something like backgammon using the ladies a pieces , always a whole one though.
Lunch of cottage cheese curry and nan , yum yum I can just feel the lbs falling away. I hope
Namaste
Next our Delhi itvar ya ravivar out with Sadeep to show us the way.

Now in our 6th floor appartment
Hello everybody
Well we have found our des-res in Gargaon just south of Delhi
"Ambience Island's" Piccies are on the web
Been to sample the shops and stock up on essentials like Tuna and Beer, couldn't find the Pimms but sure we will.
No more pool for the time as the one in Ambience like all the others shuts in the winter
Winter? Only a cool 90 degrees today, so went for a walk in the sunshine
Out to visit the ladies of the UK in the Hyatt on Tuesday to find out what to do and what not to do?
Also have to interview for the housekeeper as this manual labour is ruining my manicures
Will be on e-mail to everyone soon
Best grds
