Alternate quote of the day

15 Sept 2007

Two in one day , but aircraft this time

Well a lot of catching up and it is an online diary after all
Still no piccies though , wait till tomorrow , ok I have a few but not of the big wedding week

Lets start on a few personal Aircraft for you people out there
Now this is a story that upset a few senior people in the company but honest I was not responsible
It was still a brill laugh as they arrived one by one and created lots of talk and many requests from people for thier own. Some grumpy old man stopped it though as his initials were not used
You will have to click on them to enlarge and read he registrations
I even managed to have one called G-OSLH when we bought out (not merged) Go with easyjet , the man at the CAA suggested it.
At least these were the good piccies unlike some Mr Blender did well before this on the same company , you will see them in a book at some time in life, that is unless someone wants them destroyed? Just let HR know.

Onto a little bit before for Mr Blenders and we have where
this aviation career started back in 1978, 10 days before his birthday with a bit of tough training , 39 started and only 11 finished
Mr Blender changed his accent and became posh to all the people at home in bonnie scotland.

One the many boys toys I got to play with on the dummy deck at
Culdrose, yep at 18 we drove these around a make-believe flight deck, we also has 4 red arrow gnats to look after, but again thats another story?

Spent most of his navy time on search and rescue, and have seen a share of what he would never wish others to see, Air India , Fastnet, Lockerbie along with many others that stain the mind.

All this They also help you understand how to live to the full and thats why we are in India

Many many years later and having had to go and get a real job
This one is an ATP
Otherwise known as the Another Technical Problem or a
YUGO and tell the passengers its broke again , what a nightmare
of british invention , so overbuilt. We were told to stop calling it that under a threat of sacking. I quit now

Last for all you readers a little bit of India , honest its the real thing!!!

Namaste

Mr Blenders
